The project manager role exists to facilitate, run and deliver projects and programmes that support International's objectives.

The Opportunity:

Join our dynamic Canadian team as a Project Manager, where you’ll lead high-impact projects aligned with our international strategic objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to shape business success by delivering key initiatives that drive measurable benefits. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring these outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while managing risk and stakeholder engagement from start to finish.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading projects that support International strategic objectives
  • Ensuring business benefits are delivered in line with specified tolerances of time, cost, quality and risk
  • Managing, reporting and communicating progress
  • Business engagement of the benefits from start up, to closure and benefits realization
  • Analyzing project proposals: Evaluate approaches, resource needs, and potential constraints.
  • Supporting business case development: Contribute to and track business cases throughout project delivery.
  • Planning and monitor projects: Develop stage and exception plans, ensuring all phases stay on track.
  • Mobilizing and motivate teams: Lead teams effectively to ensure efficient and collaborative delivery.
  • Managing third-party contributions: Oversee and integrate external partners when necessary.
  • Risk management: Identify, report, and develop contingency plans for project risks.
  • Tracking progress and budget: Monitor overall project health, initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Governance and control: Maintain robust project governance, change control, and configuration management.
  • Identifying dependencies: Ensure awareness of other projects and how they may impact your work.
  • Acquiring support: Secure necessary advice and resources for effective project management.
  • Conducting lessons learned: Evaluate project outcomes and prepare actionable follow-up recommendations.
  • Collaborating with IT stakeholders: Ensure deliverables meet technical standards.
  • Supporting transition to business as usual: Work with the sponsor to ensure benefits are owned and measured post-delivery.


Our must haves:

  • Prince 2 or equivalent certification in Project Management.
  • Proficiency with MS applications and project management tools for planning, tracking, and data management.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management with a track record of driving business outcomes.
  • Strong skills in project financial management.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation abilities.
  • Experience in change management and business improvement initiatives.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in both planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology (desirable).
  • Experience with vendor contract negotiation and management (desirable).
