The Payroll Team Lead is observing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Payroll Department for Bulgaria

General Responsibilities

Leads the day-to-day operations of the Payroll Department for Bulgaria. Runs the processing of multiple payrolls

Implement and maintain processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of Payroll Lead cooperation and communication with 3rd party service provider, Legal, Finance, Accounting and HR to ensure payroll compliance with internal procedures and legislation

Interface with clients to understand client perspectives on service and value being delivered; Ensure the solution of open issues with customers (employees and managers);

Participates and/or leads improvement projects, especially on the usage of Workday, Time and attendance or other HR systems

Works with internal/external auditors, ensuring that all the required information is delivered and explained as requested

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Accounting, Finance or HR
∙ At least 5 years of working experience in the payroll area in  an international company (with Shared Services concept implemented will be considered as advantage)
∙ Knowledge and understanding of HR Systems, Workday/PeopleSoft/ SAP or any other ERP systems
∙ Excellent computer skills in an MS office environment
∙ Highly motivated, customer focused, well organized and attention to detail
∙ Problem solver with a positive attitude and ability to make appropriate decisions. Maintain focus and follow through on issues until resolved
∙ Strong team player willing to take challenges. Desire for continuous improvement in working flow and procedures optimization
∙ Good command of English language in reading, writing and speaking
