The IT Testing Manager - Oracle Fusion will be responsible for defining and leading the testing efforts for our Oracle Fusion implementations and quarterly releases. This role involves recruiting, hiring, and managing a team of testers in North America and India, developing comprehensive testing strategies, expanding the use of automated testing and ensuring the successful execution of test plans. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Fusion applications, a strong background in software testing with automation, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
•           Lead and manage the testing team for Oracle Fusion implementations, enhancements, and quarterly cloud releases.
•           Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules.
•           Define and implement the plan to expand automated testing
•           Collaborate with project managers, developers, business leaders and business analysts to understand project requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
•           Oversee the creation and maintenance of test cases, test scripts, and test data.
•           Ensure all testing activities are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
•           Identify, document, and track defects and issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.
•           Monitor and report on testing progress, metrics, and outcomes.
•           Conduct regular reviews and audits of testing processes and deliverables.
•           Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers and team members.
•           Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
•           Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•           Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
•           Experience with Oracle Fusion applications, including but not limited to ERP, HCM, and SCM.
•           Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
•           Proficient in using testing tools and frameworks such as Opkey and JIRA.
•           Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
•           Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
•           Strong organizational and time management skills.
•           Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
