Job Purpose: Java / web technologies Dev Lead with strong analytical and technical ability with over 9-13 years of experience in lead/development of Java/J2EE and microservices technology.  Must have experience in working on complex and medium to large financial related projects.

Job Background/context:

Design and develop software used to manage Private Bank’s Financial Transactional Platforms. This job provides the unique opportunity to design and implement applications that provide a critical business function. This critical business environment will provide a stream of new challenges to the candidate.

The applicant should be a superior programmer as well, with strong design and implementation fundamentals. Prior experience in finance will be useful, however, the ability and willingness to master new technical and business concepts will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Get involved & take responsibility in requirement gathering/understanding, development and maintance of projects.
• Should be able to lead and get the tasks/projects delivered independently.
• Be proficient/expert in Enterprise Application Integration technologies/concepts. Share expertise with the team to address project requirements.
• Must have solid hands on experience on Technologies like
  • API microservices
  • NextGEn architecture
  • Web technologies
  • Messaging technologies and DB
  • SOAP and Restful services
• Solid Exposure to Java and (Oracle) SQL, PL/SQL is mandatory
• Must be familiar to various design concepts like SOA, Object Oriented Programming, Integration Patterns etc
• Must be familiar to desining and leading high available , scalable, high volume processing critical  enterprise applications.
• Must have a prior proven lead experience
• Should be self motivated, work proactively & independently to address project requirements.
• Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery
• Experience in Full-Life-Cycle Development of Enterprise applications
• Very good at Design/Coding/Testing/Debugging

Knowledge / Experience: 

• 8 - 12 + years of Experience in EAI- Application development, Maintenance and Support , Architecture, Design & development using web and mobile development technologies
• Should be able to design and delvier Complex solutions end to end solutions independently.
• Experience in Java/J2EE, Microservice architecture is a must.
• Exposure to Tibco IProcess is preferable .
• Exposure to workflow management tools is highly recommended
• Should be able to understand the impact of dependent technologies and incorporate it in design.
• Strong understanding of complete SDLC, UML, object oriented design, usage of Design Patterns, standards & guidelines while using web/mobile technologies & expertise on usage of Protocols like SOAP, JMS, HTTP/S, SMTP, FTP, TCP and UDP.
• Strong working expertise using Web Services (SOAP & REST), Adapters, JMS, MQ, XPATH, XML, PL/SQL, JAVA.
• Experienced in deploying and Devops, CI-CD pipeline and quality control standards and tools,
• Good to have knowledge in monitoring tool, logging frameworks, etc
• Experienced in developing and configuring messaging solutions using TIBCO EMS messaging software and Tibco Rendezvous or IBM WebSphere MQ.
• Experience in Full-Life-Cycle Development of Enterprise applications is must.
• Exposure to Agile development is preferable

Skills Required 

• Java/J2EE/Spring microsrvices
• Good exposure to Java , Oracle, XSLT is must
• Exposure to working with multiple message formats
• Version Control

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)

Candidate should be flexible to work late in the global time zone on need basis in order to interact with APAC, NAM, EMEA team/other stake holders and to meet the project requirements by Business.
