Full Stack Java Developer

Summary:

Technology Software Engineer needed to assist in development efforts for team while working on project development and maintenance activities. The candidate should have experience configuring, extending, and supporting the Finance systems (but not mandatory).

The candidate should also have development experience with industry leading programming languages like Java, J2ee, Spring boot with Microservices, Spring Batch and JMS and Object-Oriented Programming Concepts, Database Programming using SQL and PL/SQL, including developing stored procedures, database triggers and database packages. A willingness to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change is a must for this position. The candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams with direction from senior management. Solid verbal and written communication skills are required for this position

Responsibilities for This Role:

Application system development that integrates existing enterprise applications, legacy systems and determine the infrastructure approach to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements.

Perform systems design and analysis; develop code to ensure successful and seamless communication among the various IT systems, users and applications components

Prepare and present technical concepts to internal audiences.

Work with functional team to define the technology framework which defines, develops, and implements delivery systems

Role Qualifications (Skills, Previous Roles):

  • Hand-on experience on development of Micro service using RESTful , while maintaining systems documentation.
  • Hand-on experience on Spring Boot, RESTful Services and Advanced knowledge and experience with Java.
  • Experience utilizing SQL/NoSQL Databases.
  • Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and databases
  • Full life-cycle development in any financial project
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to maintain transparency on work efforts and to ensure design and implementation is understood by all team participants
  • Must possess organizational, problem-solving skills and time management skills and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator, able to adapt delivery style and language to suit the audience.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience in a modern language such as Java 17+, J2EE,  Spring Boot, RESTful service, Spring Data (ORM), JPA, Junits, Postman, SwaggerUI, Git/ADO.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience & thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles with experience in popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) or Angular 10+ and Restful APIs/ version (1+ years)
  • Solid Object-oriented programming skills and excellent knowledge of analysis and design patterns
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience on ActiveMQ / IBM MQ / Rabit MQ / Kafka
  • Good Analysis and problem solving

Secondary skills:

  • Having cloud experience like OpenShift container platform / AWS / GCP.
  • Good understanding on CI/CD tools like Argo CD, Tekton CI, Jenkins
  • Good understanding of consuming SOAP services.
  • Good to have payments domain knowledge.
  • Nice to have Volante transformation tool experience.
