The Plant Manager leads, directs, facilitates, and optimizes all operations of the manufacturing plant in order to achieve business objectives. The Plant Manager develops and executes strategic plans aligned with business goals.
The Plant Manager is accountable for all aspects of plant performance, with a focus on safety, quality, people, customer service, and performance. Through employee engagement, the Plant Manager focuses on performance improvement, cost reduction, product delivery, and customer service.

Education & Experience Qualifications
Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent
5 years of experience in a manufacturing ERP system driven environment
5 years of experience in a supervisory or people management role
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Manufacturing Engineering
10 years of experience in a manufacturing ERP system driven environment
Experience with plant start-ups and equipment layout
Evidence of successfully leading large scale projects
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership, analytical and diplomacy skills
Knowledge of steel industry
Continuous improvement techniques with manufacturing processes and capabilities
Understanding of Oracle ERP systems
Management of inventories
Excellent verbal, problem-solving, presentation and facilitation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
