Who You’ll Work With:

AllianceBernstein’s Hedge Fund Solutions Group is seeking a Business Development Associate to join its dynamic and collaborative Global team. This role will report directly to the Head of Hedge Fund Solutions Business Development in EMEA and will support the aggregate team's Capital Development, Investor Engagement, and Client Service initiatives. The individual will have a diverse set of responsibilities, be a key part of the team and help with project management and process development across a variety of functions. To be successful in this role you must be highly detail-oriented and organized, able to meet assigned deadlines, and have first-class communication and interpersonal skills.

What You’ll Do:

Support the team in creating sales leads and manage the prospect process across Europe by initiating conversations with potential alternatives clients for fund and non-fund vehicles. This includes tasks such as:

  • Develop relationships with prospects across Europe
  • Service relationships with existing clients, assist with responding to client queries
  • Provide regular strategy updates to clients and sales teams
  • Coordinate roadshow agendas with PMs, clients and sales teams
  • Provide education to keep sales teams and prospects up to date on products, trends in the markets, etc.
  • Assist in mapping new clients and regions

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5 plus years experience working in a client facing or Investor Relations role across the Hedge Fund or Institutional Asset Management space
  • Strong understanding of alternative strategies (including quantitative strategies)
  • Strong knowledge of European client base and markets as well as fund structures
  • Strong analytical / data assessment skills
  • Superior ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Fluent in English
