About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant as part of the Money Movement and Account Opening and Maintenance Product Group within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM). The primary goals of this Product team are to deliver innovative account opening and maintenance and money movement solutions that best serve our clients, financial advisors, and home office team members.

The Business Execution Consultant will support development, delivery, and support of Account Opening and Maintenance technology solutions, with a specific focus on Implementation support.  This role may offer additional opportunities across the functions this specific group owns - controls & risks, change management, release readiness and metrics and implementation support.


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives

  • Respond and track to resolution inquires and issues submitted from the front-office and Operations for Account Opening and Maintenance and Money Movement applications

  • Lead projects and implement new processes

  • Manage and collaborate with Product Delivery and Leadership on User Feedback, Loudspeaker and Excellence First submissions

  • Partner with Account Opening and Maintenance and Money Movement Service teams, Platform Support and Product Delivery to resolve production issues

  • Provide Account Opening and Maintenance and Money Movement metrics and user adoption reporting assistance

  • Develop and provide application training and demos to front-office and Operations

  • Implement action plans to establish effective processes and best practices to support business goals and objectives

  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables

  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of brokerage industry experience

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of money movement processes and technology, particularly brokerage

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Ability to take initiative and respond pro-actively to issues and escalations

  • Ability to exercise independent judgement to identify and resolve problems with a focus on actionable outcomes

  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented, with the proven ability to manage multiple processes and tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skills
