The Manager, Product will be responsible for managing the strategy and execution of key product initiatives, including supporting project management of new recipe development. You will have the opportunity to deep dive into different functional areas, designing and executing projects. Project topics include product road mapping, research, support on recipe development, packaging design and more. The Manager, Product is highly agile, has a passion for diagnosing and bringing structure to complex business challenges (and is not afraid of getting their hands dirty!), and adept at change and stakeholder management.
You will…
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle with speed and urgency that meets quality standards set by The Pets Table to produce the best quality food for our pups
- Overseeing merchandising of our existing products, including promotions, product marketing, retail onboarding/management and digital product changes
- Manage our product feedback cycle to improve our existing recipes
- Work with brand teams to design packaging and photoshoots for new product launches
- Develop long and short term product roadmap and strategy across our complete and balanced pet food categories as well as in our addons categories (treats, supplements, etc.)
- Create and execute project plans to ensure successful product development within guardrails of budget and timeline. Including product briefs, business casing and our go to market strategy
- Continually introduce strategic ideas and product concepts for new products, quality improvements, and productivity
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to support new categories, products and addons we should be investing in to improve customer experience, retention and overall growth of the business
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Growth, Ops, our Vet Nutritionist and Tech across the entire product development process to ensure success of the products we launch
- Help build new models and/or processes to measure how new products impact key business objectives

At a minimum, you have…
- You have 3+ years of experience in product, brand management or strategy roles. Experience within the Food or Pet industry is preferred, but not required.
- You have demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects that involve physical product development
- Experience working on or managing complex projects in a hands-on analytical environment
- Strong data and analytical skills with the ability to analyze large data sets skillfully by building complex models and identify/resolve problems quickly using sound and professional judgment
- Excellent presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management and with technical and non-technical people
- Ability to manage resources, budgets, vendors, and be able to lead and guide projects through completion
