Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing solutions that align with business objectives, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing support and enhancements to existing applications while ensuring that all development aligns with best practices and organizational standards. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features. - Design and implement Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications based on business requirements - Develop and maintain calculation scripts, business rules, and forms in Hyperion Planning - Create and optimize Essbase databases, including BSO and ASO cubes - Configure and maintain security for applications and users - Develop and maintain data integration processes between source systems and Hyperion - Troubleshoot performance issues and implement optimization strategies - Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members - Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes - Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase. - Strong understanding of application development methodologies, Essbase calc scripts, MDX, and MaxL. - Experience with Hyperion Planning business rules and form design. - Proficiency in Smart View, Financial Reports - Understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles - Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and documentation abilities - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively. - Familiarity with integration techniques for various business applications. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud migrations - Knowledge of SQL and relational databases - Oracle Hyperion certification - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field Technical Skills - Hyperion Planning - Essbase (BSO/ASO) - Smart View - Financial Reports - Calculation Manager - FDMEE/Data Management - SQL (basic) Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Hyperion Planning. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
