Position Summary

  • Leads the work and deliverables of multiple, complex projects or programs, through to implementation, that impact multiple processes, systems, functions and products. Length of project may run multiple years in duration.
  • Coordinates with operational leads across enterprise departments, and other matrix partners to drive business performance and objectives.
  • Manages work plans, running projects, coordinating larger review meetings and ensuring areas are completing projects timely.
  • Works across business units as needed (Medicaid and Medicare service operations). Develops and implements strategic business plan to achieve business goals.
  • Proactively leads a program and/or most complex projects by setting strategic direction. Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization.
  • Collaborates and partners with other functional managers, other business areas across/within segments or other business areas to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed.
  • Manages projects within the Duals Markets team across the country collaborating with DSNP markets.
  • Assumes an operational role with managing several critical business objectives that require engagement with shared services partners

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years working knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid programs
  • 5+ years operational background within a health plan environment
  • 5+ years project management and coordination skills across a matrix environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of duals and DSNP products
  • Project management experience
  • Working in a matrix environment
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with benefit configuration setup in healthcare claims or enrollment systems (e.g., QNXT, HealthRules)
  • Working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding and its application in benefit design and claims adjudication


Education

Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,900.00 - $199,144.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
