As a Nurse Manager of the Perioperative Department at Cleveland Clinic Martin South, you will manage the practice of professional nursing and delivery of nursing care in the Operating Room and Pre- and Post-Operative Department. The Nurse Manager is knowledgeable of the patient population and serves as a resource to caregivers on the team and will be involved in continuous improvement projects to improve care delivery and patient outcomes. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Overseeing the team's ability to provide safe, high-quality care to our patients.
• Showing a presence and being supportive and responsive of team members.
• Serving as a resource to caregivers on the team.
• Developing and maintaining unit related patient care standards through continuous quality improvement.
The ideal caregiver is someone who:
• Has a minimum of two years of Nursing Leadership experience in an Orthopedic Surgery acute care Operating Room (REQUIRED)
• Possesses both intellectual and emotional intelligence.
• Can triage problems and use critical thinking skills for problem solving.
• Can build and develop interpersonal relationships with team members.
• Is organized and can complete projects in a timely manner.
