The Technology Associate is responsible for the management and troubleshooting of software and wealth management systems to ensure consistent and efficient operations. This position involves maintaining and securing client databases in compliance with industry regulations, alongside optimizing Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools to enhance client interactions and productivity. The Associate will develop and implement automated workflows and conduct technology training for team members. The role also entails managing relationships with technology vendors, identifying opportunities to leverage technology for improved service, and providing tech support during client interactions. Additionally, the Technology Associate will take the lead or provide support on technology-related projects such as system migrations, software upgrades, and new technology rollouts.

- Maintain client databases, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance with industry regulations
- Configure and optimize Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools to streamline client interactions and improve productivity
- Develop and implement workflows and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks
- Train team members on technology platforms and provide ongoing support to maximize adoption and effectiveness
- Monitor and address risks, ensuring systems and client information are protected
- Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers to implement updates and resolve technical issues

- Assist with digital tools and platforms used in client meetings, such as financial planning software or video conferencing applications
- Lead or support technology-related projects, including system migrations, software upgrades, and new technology rollouts
- Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner and transfer to intended recipient or voicemail

Education, Experience and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
- 3+ years of experience in a support and/or administrative function, preferably within professional services or similar environment
- Broad knowledge of financial services and compliance requirements within the wealth advisory industry
- Knowledge of general investment and finance principles/strategies (e.g. Retirement plans, trusts, stock market etc.)
- Prior experience using CRM and financial reporting software preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Essential Functions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and at client offices to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external actors as needed
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $80,000
