Job Overview:

The Product Analyst will partner with team members across the Data & Analytics capabilities (Data Science, Applied Analytics & Business Intelligence, Digital Analytics, and Data Strategy & Governance) and key stakeholders across the enterprise to enable LPL execution and measurement of strategic data initiatives. Examples of initiatives this role will support include communicating the data initiatives to key stakeholders, developing data literacy programs, creating and maintaining policies and standards, and driving the overall data strategy of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and coordinate across various Data & Analytics functions, such as Data Science, Data Strategy and Governance, and Digital Analytics, to ensure Data & Analytics brand is consistent and receives diverse feedback on work products

  • Develop the criteria for baseline data literacy enterprise-wide and specific literacy requirements for each business unit and levels

  • Contribute to the creation and design of data curriculum that drives the overall data literacy of the enterprise, while communicating the data strategy, policies, and best practices

  • Manage stakeholder relationships on the development of the data curriculum, including stakeholders from Data & Analytics, Learning & Development, Human Capital, and various business units

  • Develop and maintain the Data Governance policies and standards, including metadata management, data quality, data access, data lineage, etc.

  • Support the development of best practices documentation related to data tooling, metadata usage and access, and business processes related to data governance initiatives

  • Play a key role in managing and collaborating with cross-functional technology, business, and data initiatives

  • Support the creation of the overall data strategy that drives how the business governs, accesses, and uses data

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or related discipline

  • 3+ years hands-on project experience working with metadata, data quality, data cataloging, policies, and learning & development

  • 3+ years experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI), and exposure to data governance toolsets (Collibra, IDQ, ASG, data.world, Manta, etc.)

  • 3+ years experience working with SQL & Excel

  • 3+ years experience defining and creating product requirements

Preferences:

  • Fluency in data related practices including data management, data governance, architecture, and data & analytics

  • Experience with Snowflake or BigQuery

  • Familiarity with QA and UAT testing procedures

  • Excellent communication skills when working cross-functionally, or when presenting insights to technical or non-technical stakeholders and leadership

  • Familiarity with platforms such as Jira, Confluence

  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment- should be comfortable partnering with Business Strategy, Engineering, Technology, UX teams, etc.


 

Pay Range:

$80,752.00 - $134,518.00


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
