Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Field Representative to join our Renton Vendor Asst team in Renton, WA.

In this role, you will partner with our Senior Leadership team on program management & strategic business transformation initiatives, to make the company stronger, more competitive and more resilient long term. You will have the chance to define and lead program & project management best practices. You will help drive business planning and decision making, operations, and business insights up and down the Renton Vendor Asst. 

Our teams are currently hiring a Mid- Level (Level 3) Procurement Field Representative.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitors emergent offload/overload suppliers including processors, philanthropic, machine shop and sheet metal shop to ensure schedule compliance and product conformity.
  • Identifies, establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries of products, services and data that support necessary supplier contractual corrective actions and resolution of issues (e.g., poor schedule performance, product and producibility issues) to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Communicates across functions (e.g., procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field quality, engineering, manufacturing) to report status and concerns.
  • Co-facilitates with the supplier the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements. Identifies needs for training on business and manufacturing practices (e.g., requirements interpretation and clarification, contractual compliance, scheduling tools, technical skills, self assessment) to supplier personnel for improvement or enhancement delivery performance.
  • Participates with the procurement agent in on-site supplier assessments (e.g., Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement and support Boeing procurement strategy.
  • Monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and provides status back to supervisor and procurement agent.
  • Identifies and communicates opportunities to implement new processes or improves existing processes and reports back to management and make recommendation to procurement agent.
  • Assesses supplier resource plan and reports results to supervisor/procurement agent. Supports work movement as requested by supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in the Supply Chain managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience in performing aircraft manufacturing operations in one or more of the following domains: Assembly, Mechanical, Electrical, Seal, Quality Assurance or Flightline environment

Summary pay range (Level 3): $ 99,900 - $116,000
