Summary: As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. You will also manage incidents with a focus on service restoration and act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents/requests. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure the smooth deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications. - Execute cross-technology administration tasks, including OS, databases, and virtual networks. - Automate monitoring and scripting processes to improve efficiency. - Handle incidents and prioritize service restoration. - Provide operations support for compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents/requests. - Manage the rollout of patches and implement release management schedule. - Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies. - Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud infrastructure management. - Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and concepts. - Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash. - Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting. - Familiarity with monitoring tools and automation frameworks. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in SUSE Linux Administration. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
