As an R&D Senior Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing oil-insulated instrument transformers—driving performance, sustainability, and reliability in energy infrastructure worldwide.

How you'll make an impact

·        Lead Technical Excellence: Design and improve oil-insulated high-voltage instrument transformers, including inductive, combined, and station service voltage transformers.

·        Support Global Operations: Provide expert technical support to production and service units across the globe, ensuring timely updates and effective solutions.

·        Drive Innovation: Contribute to R&D projects and product improvement initiatives, applying advanced techniques and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

·        Enhance Tools & Processes: Develop and maintain engineering tools, guide users, and implement design/process improvements based on product performance insights.

·        Collaborate Internationally: Work cross-functionally and across borders to foster innovation and knowledge sharing.

·        Champion Sustainability: Support the development of eco-efficient and innovative transformer solutions aligned with our sustainability goals.

Your background

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

·        3+ years of experience in the design and testing of medium or high-voltage instrument transformers—or similar applications

·        Familiarity with station service voltage transformers and capacitive voltage transformers is a plus

·        Strong knowledge of oil insulation technology for HV applications

·        Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling (PTC Creo or similar)

·        Experience with PLM systems (preferably PTC Windchill)

·        Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills

·        Fluent in English and Polish

·        A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for solving complex, multidisciplinary challenges
