Technical Fleet Data Analyst

Description -

Technical Fleet Data Analyst will be responsible to conceptualize, designs, develops, integrates, deploy and maintains the data layer and data components by applying specialized knowledge of information, data and database management and SQL programming. The objectives are to manage E2E delivery operations for HP's Managed Services business focusing on Outsourced and Managed Services offerings.  Primary delivery areas are to manage demand / supply, inventory magement, request fulfilment

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports application projects, potentially serving as the data engineer, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the deliverables with other project outcomes
  • Analyze design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
  • Creation of scripts, complex functions, and triggers to support the creation of applications and support data analysis activities
  • Produce reports and dashboards and perform data analysis to develop trends for managing fleet and PC lifecycle operations ; articulate findings to management, position their impacts, perform what-if simulations
  • Analyse performance of repair partners and identify opportunities for improvements related to repair quality, cost and efficiency
  • Perform repair analysis and reporting on a periodic basis publish dashboard
  • Analyzes data inaccuracies, identifies opportunities and supports the development of automated solutions to enhance overall quality of the enterprise data.

Education and Experience :

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Statistics/ Mathematics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 7 years of work experience, preferably in data analytics, data engineering, data modeling, or a related field

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, and optimizing large complicated SQL statements
  • Strong Analytical and Data Modelling skills, delivering dashboards in Power BI Expert
  • Awareness of HP’s Supply Chain environment, tools and PC Lifecycle models are a big plus
  • Extract Transform Load (ETL)
  • Data Engineering & Data Analysis
