WHAT YOU’LL DO

We look for a senior quantitative researcher who has expertise in Delta One Equities quant trading. You will be working on complex, high impact projects that will have immediate feedback. As the key member of Optiver Shanghai’s trading team, you can expect to:

• Take the lead in developing new strategies for and delivering improvements to the trading system, in the pricing, modelling and execution domains, leveraging our mature tech stack
• Collaborate with peers to conduct and review research
• Participate in strategic discussions to set the direction of the business

 

WHO YOU ARE

Our ideal candidates are highly collaborative, with an established record of success in quantitative trading of A-share equities. 

Additionally, as part of our team you’ll need:

• 3+ years experience in quant trading by trading A-share equities 
• Hands-on, on top of all the implementation details of current strategies and has the capability to implement the solution end-to-end with some support
• Experience in computationally intensive research
• Quick learner, driven, team player, open minded and eager for success
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Programming experience in Python or C++
