Currently we are looking for exceptional Procurement Operations Lead to join our team in Lodz, Poland.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Operations Lead to join our team in Łódź, Poland. This role will be responsible for managing the procurement specialists and data analytics team, reporting directly to the Procurement Operation and Analytics Manager in the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, team management, and data analytics, with a focus on continuous improvement and standardization.
Core responsibilities:
Manage, motivate, and train the procurement specialist and data analytics team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Communicate and oversee the development of goals and metrics in line with the overall Procurement Groups goals and metrics.
Oversee the timely and accurate placement of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the procurement function.
Collaborate with the Procurement Operation and Analytics Manager to standardize procurement processes across buying groups in the US and Poland.
Work closely with Global Category Managers (GCMs) and the Procurement Operation and Analytics Manager to ensure the data analytics team provides high-quality analysis to support procurement functions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support procurement objectives and initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Min. of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and procurement software solutions
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and experience working with data analytics teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Project management experience is required
Ability to build credibility with stakeholders
Ability to influence and collaborate with others
Advanced SAP Procurement module knowledge and other relevant procurement technologies
Sound and proven problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities with varied delivery dates
Fluency in English and proficiency in Polish required.
