Position Summary:

Primarily supporting the Team Lead in Fixed Assets verification activities covering various departments. Assist in gathering and handling of data related to Fixed Asset (FA) for Malaysia entity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Fixed Assets Verification Schedule, coordinate and conduct periodic physical count.

• Heavily involved in Asset Verification activities covering various departments:

  • Asset documentation (Review asset records and documentation for accuracy and completeness, check for discrepancies in asset records i.e. Oracle EBS ID, FA # etc, and cross reference with location records)

  • Physical verification (Physically locate and inspect each asset, ensure assets are present, verify each asset’s unique identification number/ tag. Ensure tags are legible, and verify asset condition (still in working condition? Damage/ wear/ sign of obsolescence)

• Support in preparation of the monthly FA capitalization process

• Gather invoices copies

  • Verify invoices between CIP and AP system

  • Reports extraction and preparations

  • Maintain and monitor performance tracker of project status. Analyze, validate and collaborate with business partners for timely closure in systems.

• Support in audit requirement

  • Co-ordinate for asset verification for assets picked by auditor

  • Collate artifacts in support of SOX Controls for Capital Expenditures

  • Furnish supporting documents required by the auditor

• Supplier Management

  • Update Contract Register

  • Verify periodic vendor statement reconciliation and tracking

• Monthly report extraction and preparation

• Other related jobs as directed by the superior from time to time

Requirements:

• Familiar with Oracle EBS / Cloud or similar ERP system (added advantage)

• Intermediate skills in MS Excel

• Able to start work immediately or within a short period
