Title: Project Manager

Role and responsibilities

 

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Managers are responsible for the following areas:

 

  • Planning and managing every aspect of a project (process, change, technology) including providing overall guidance and direction for the project and overseeing financial management activities.
  • Resource requirement identification and assignment
  • Measuring and monitoring progress at clearly-defined points of the process to ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Balancing scope, the schedule, budget, quality, and risks
  • Ensuring that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all team members affected
  • Identifying and resolving project risks and issues
  • Managing relationships and coordinating work between different teams at different global locations.
  • Ensures project deliverables, goals, milestones are achieved Manage customer relationships, ensuring that commitments are fulfilled

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of retail/hospitality/IT project management including scheduling and budgeting
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of coordinating and/supporting IT business processes.
  • Strong and confident customer facing skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the retail and hospitality industries and businesses
  • Experience working in an international setting
  • SCRUM/Agile certification
