What you’ll do in this role:

In this role, you will require higher level knowledge,skills and experience in Import/Export .You will build knowledge of company processes and customers, solve a range of moderate to complex problems, and analyze possible solutions using standard procedures. You will receive a minimum level of guidance and direction.

Your role requires expanded knowledge in Import/Export and broadens your capabilities. You will understand key business drivers within your function and provide informal guidance to team members. Your work will impact the achievement of team goals and objectives. Additionally, you will explain moderately complex information to others in straightforward situations.

  • You adhere to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manages the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations, assisting with delivery coordination within the supply chain system.
  • Calculate tariffs, distribution procedure, article protection, tariffs, price conversions, weight and, a volume of merchandise exported / imported to / from foreign destinations.
  • Evaluates and tracks invoices and shipping documents to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Analyze the delivery flow and process to improve procedures.
  • Maintains a program of internal controls to guarantee compliance with the regulations related to the shipment, reception and documentation of imported/exported products.
  • Communicate, maintain and develop business relationships.
  • Ensures that all aspects of delivery standards are met.
  • Handles moderate and complex problems. Familiarity with ERP systems and industry-related transportation laws
  • Support the customs compliance department as well as other departments as needed with reports or analysis.
  • Observe the control over the processes, reports and information in the company's import and export systems
  • Performs other functions as required

  • You will have defined Goals and Objectives specifying key projects and expected milestones to achieve.
  • You will support other site and company initiatives to further continuous improvement in the areas of cost, delivery, and quality.

What sets you apart?

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is desired; however, if you do not meet the education requirement, you may be considered with 4 years of relevant experience in Import/Export roles.
  • You demonstrate the ability to effectively manage import and export regulations according to the countries laws and requirements  
  • You demonstrate competency in both written and oral communications.
  • You maintain a calm demeanor that transcends the high energy, constantly changing supply chain environment.
  • You possess a positive, can-do attitude with an underlying belief that failure is not an option.
