What you will do:

This is an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager (account) to be a part of a very close-knit team to grow within Johnson Control Security Division. Working with our industry-leading portfolio of established products. We have a large portfolio of security products. Ideal candidate is open minded, to target both key customers with an innovative solution and opening doors with a similar proposal more suitable for vertical markets. The candidate will be the JCI point of contact for our existing customer base and for the future customers.

How you will do it:

  • In this challenging position, you will be responsible for prospecting new customers on the Italian market and contributing to profitable growth in the region.
  • You will organize your own prospection and your agenda autonomously in an organized manner that you will report in our Salesforce customer relationship software.
  • You will promote our products by presentation or demonstration and explain to prospects all the advantages of our intrusion solutions.
  • You will participate in events such as exhibitions and may be required to organize training sessions of our products both on customer site and remotely.
  • You will keep our customers informed of the latest solutions and new products.
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
  • Finally, you will work closely with your Regional Sales Manager to put in place all the actions and tools necessary for sales development.
  • We therefore expect you to have initiative and a good team spirit, growth strategy and new business channel exploring attitude.
  • To maintain an excellent working relationship with other departments, Regional Business Manager and staff to support business development and retention.

What we look for :

  • Experience in Commercial business, you can prove that you have at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • Proven track record of selling technical products within the Security Market
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the electronic security market.
  • You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office platform.
  • You have a sufficient level of written and spoken English.
  • Home based, you preferably live in Northern Italy
  • Experience selling in a B2B sales environment.
  • Sales activity experience using social media.
  • Smart home market knowledge
  • Experience using tools such like Microsoft Teams or analogues for webinars and remote customer report management.
  • Sales experiences in technology, consumer electronics, services
  • Experience in the international workplace.
  • Graduate

Workplace:

The candidate is in northern Italy, with a willingness to travel up to 75% of his working time and the role is linked to the northern Italian market.
