Job Description Summary

Lead overall account strategy and execution for NextEra Energy (NEE), driving year-over-year profitability and customer outcomes across the full Wind portfolio (new unit sales, repower, parts, warranty, and aftermarket). This role owns the commercial relationship and account performance, aligns cross-functional teams, and engages senior executives within both NEE and GEV to negotiate and execute complex agreements, settlements, and claims resolutions.

Location is flexible across U.S. East Coast GE Vernova hubs; approximately 25–30% travel is required.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Own the NEE account P&L and year-over-year profitability, leveraging key drivers (volume growth, pricing, claims reduction, and MOU payment mitigation).
  • Develop and execute account strategy across interrelated opportunities (new unit sales, repower, projects, warranty, parts, and aftermarket) to optimize outcomes for GEV Wind and GEV overall.
  • Lead commercial execution for 1x and 2x MOUs, warranty claims, and other settlements; partner with internal legal and technical experts to achieve tough-but-fair outcomes.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership across all NEE interfaces (project execution, fleet performance management, and claims management), coordinating with the GEV NEE Strategic Account Executive and engaging regularly with senior executives at the customer and within GEV.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (ideally Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline).
  • 15+ years of experience in commercial, sales, account management, or similar roles.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience.
  • Experience leading complex commercial negotiations, agreements, and settlements (including warranty and claims management).
  • Strong commercial acumen with the creativity and critical thinking to develop balanced solutions and outcomes.
  • Influence and negotiation skills; able to drive tough-but-fair outcomes while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presence with CEO/EVP-level stakeholders.
  • Project and/or program management experience.
  • Willingness to travel 25-30% of the time.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $208,000 and $312,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
