Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Shipping Traffic Coordinator 2 based out of Charlottesville, VA.

What You'll Get To Do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to schedule shipments of material and products with pre-approved transportation services. The Shipping Traffic Coordinator will be responsible for managing transportation logistics, executing data entry tasks, and overseeing export shipping processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and process export documentation, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations

- Coordinate and manage transportation logistics for the shipment of goods, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries

-Prepare and process domestic shipments

- Maintain accurate records of shipments, and report daily/weekly on shipping status

- Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements that enhance efficiency in transportation and shipping

-Pack various items in boxes and crates, while sometimes using pneumatic tools like nail guns

The Shipping Traffic Coordinator must have strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications for the Shipping Traffic Coordinator 2:

- High-school diploma or GED and 2 additional years of education and/or related experience in a shipping, warehouse, manufacturing/production, logistics, data entry, or export environment

-Experience in transportation logistics, data entry, and/or export shipping processes

-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

-Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

-US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Export Regulations, ECCN database, ITAR Regulations and Schedule B database

-Working knowledge of SAP

-Bachelor's degree

-Experience and understanding of International and Defense Contracts

-Familiar with WAWF

Primary Level Salary Range: $37,400.00 - $62,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
