About the Role & Team

 

Manage content acquired for the local DTC Platform throughout the Pre-Signature and Post-Signature process described below. 

 

Regularly maintain and update various databases, tracking documents and share point sites to ensure key stakeholders in the organisation have the latest information they require regarding content acquired from third parties for exhibition on TWDC linear and non-linear services. 

 

Monitor, consolidate and maintain deal and acquisition database and trackers, including the Masterfile System, and facilitate communication between acquisition departments and other relevant line of businesses.  

  • Support preparation of presentations & titles lists for Local Acquisitions team 

  • Support Pre- & Post-signature deal management  

  • Prepare TRM/TBR Requests and process them with stakeholders  

  • Set up Vendor in SAP and process invoice management (invoice tracker, payment milestones, etc.) 

  • Liaise with materials, compliance and scheduling departments to enable launch of titles 

  • Coordinate asset delivery and QC status checks with Operations as well as metadata deliveries  

  • Process deal approvals and manage contract repository 

  • Manage acquired titles in various database systems 

 

Responsibility covers titles acquired for the EMEA region as well as for single markets, including ad hoc support for any local market outside the home market. 

 

On an ad hoc basis, support other members of the team in deal making, decks, and any other request.  

 

Linear Acquisitions Activities: 

 

GE channels: Support and collaborate with local teams on AOP prep, workshops [decks consolidation], roll out of new processes [deal tracker], help Senior Acquisitions Manager to coordinate MERF process.  

Kids channels: Attend recurring Kids meeting and debrief / circulate to team. Manage associated deal aftercare. 

 

Experience, Professional & Additional Qualifications Required 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in television acquisitions or related media field. 

  • Experience in deal management and deal aftercare management. 

  • Proficient in the following applications: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer, Excel, Airtable and Powerpoint. 

  • System savvy (we use multiple systems to track deals, acquisitions, register titles and Licensors, …) 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent organisation skills and time management, ability to work towards deadlines 

  • Strong multi-tasker 

  • Careful attention to detail 

  • Friendly, approachable with a can-do attitude.
