Job Description

Discover Impactful Work:

The candidate will sell laboratory diagnostic equipment within a defined territory, to new and existing customers including Acute Care Hospitals, Independent Reference and Physician’s Office Laboratories.

A Day in the Life!

· Work with Fisher Account Managers (field and inside sales) and manufacturer reps to identify, develop and close instrumentation and lab automation opportunities within your assigned territory

· Meet your annual targets for both diagnostic capital instrumentation and reagents

· Develop strong professional relationships with the account managers you support to serve our customers and position our diagnostic solutions

· Understand and be able to clearly present the value proposition our division brings to our customer’s laboratories

· Maintain an accurate and detailed instrument pipeline that you will use daily to ensure you meet your revenue commitments

· Develop robust territory plans, in conjunction with your account managers and instrument manufacturer reps, that will serve as your roadmap to meet your sales goals

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business or Science or equivalent experience

Experience:

· Five years of capital equipment sales experience is required

· Prior clinical laboratory and/or prior distribution experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

· Serve as a mentor, leader and motivator to the account management team.

· Act as a trusted teammate within a dedicated and tenured group of capital instrument sales specialists

· Track record of sales over-achievement vs. company goals and territory management

· 50%-60% travel

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $100,000.00–$140,000.00.
