The Technical Product Owner works closely with the Product Owner providing a single point of accountability across Plan, Build and Run for Technology products in the Airport Experience portfolio. The goal is to deliver world class capabilities to our frontline staff, and a world class experiences to our customers.

This role is accountable for aligning product delivery plans to enable the business to achieve their objectives & strategic outcomes – from concept through to operations. They guide and mentor cross-functional squads and vendors to ensure features are delivered to commitments, and the products meet their service levels and are secure and resilient by design.

The Technical Product Owner is a leader with a customer-centric mentality, responsible for developing a team culture of continuous improvement and innovation. They will manage the quality of service and operational stability, including IT risk and compliance management, delivering service improvements and providing input to service management strategies. 

You’ll have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in an Agile environment and 3+ years as an agile Iteration Manager working within a scaled agile environment (or equivalent work experience)

  • 3+ years in delivery roles work with Agile vendors

  • Proven ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve, or lead the solving of strategic problems of high complexity on a large scale

  • Expert stakeholder management skills across both business and technical functions

  • Solid experience in operational service management

  • (Preferably) Sales & Distribution and Airline technology experience

  • Experience designing and facilitating fit for purpose workshops that deliver defined outcomes

  • Expert stakeholder engagement and management skills

  • Able to work cross-functionally and align business unit processes to enterprise business processes

  • Strong negotiation and conflict skills

  • Strong commercial and business acumen 

  • Strong people leadership skills and experience
