Department Overview

Avigilon Alta is the cloud based Video Security and Access Control business unit within Motorola Solutions. Originally created by the acquisition of Ava Securities in 2022, it is the fasted growing business unit with the company. It uses AI, both in the cameras an in the cloud to provide the next generation of video security to a huge range of customers all around the world.


Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our cloud-based security devices product line. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the product roadmap, managing the lifecycle from concept to launch, and ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers while staying ahead of the competition. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions.
•⁠  ⁠Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for cloud-based security camera solutions.
•⁠  ⁠Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
•⁠  ⁠Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
•⁠  ⁠Lead the product lifecycle from concept development through launch, including requirements gathering, feature prioritization, and performance tracking.
•⁠  ⁠Manage product releases, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements with a focus on user experience and security.
•⁠  ⁠Analyze customer feedback and data to continuously improve the product and address pain points.
•⁠  ⁠Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize features, resolve technical challenges, and ensure the product aligns with business objectives.
•⁠  ⁠Partner with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, sales enablement materials, and customer onboarding processes.
•⁠  ⁠Monitor and report on key product metrics, including usage, retention, and customer satisfaction.
 


Basic Requirements

•⁠  ⁠Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science).
•⁠  ⁠3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in thardware devices
•⁠  ⁠Experience with cloud technologies, SaaS platforms, or IoT products.
•⁠  ⁠Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead projects from concept to completion.
•⁠  ⁠Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
•⁠  ⁠Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
•⁠  ⁠Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
