$75.40 - $120.65

Major Responsibilities  

  • Leads day-to-day operational, clinical, and financial performance of ambulatory surgery centers and physician joint venture surgery centers within an assigned geographic area, ensuring alignment with division and enterprise performance expectations and partnership agreements.  
  •  Supports the VP, ASC Operations by executing divisional ASC strategies at the market and site level, translating strategic plans into actionable operational initiatives across assigned centers and ensuring consistent implementation. 
  •  Designs and directs the work of assigned ASC leaders and managers, including coaching, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development to build a strong, sustainable management pipeline within the geographic portfolio.  
  •  Develops, manages, and monitors operating and capital budgets for assigned ASCs, ensuring responsible financial stewardship, optimization of facility level profit and loss statements, and adherence to approved budget objectives 
  •  Ensures all assigned centers operate in compliance with organizational policies, Code of Conduct, and applicable local, state, federal, and accrediting body requirements, while promoting continuous quality improvement, patient safety, and risk mitigation.  
  •  Oversees key operational, financial, quality, and productivity metrics across assigned ASCs; identifies underperformance trends and leads corrective action plans to improve efficiency, patient experience, and outcomes. 
  •  Serves as an operational liaison for ASC joint ventures within the assigned geography, supporting physician relationships, facilitating issue resolution, and ensuring alignment with joint venture agreements and system objectives 
  • Implements enterprise-wide ASC standards, workflows, and best practices within assigned centers, partnering with revenue cycle, supply chain, IT, managed care, and other corporate functions to ensure operational consistency and integration.  
  •  Supports growth initiatives within the assigned geography, including expansion of existing centers and readiness for de novo development, by aligning operational capabilities, staffing models, and facility capacity with anticipated demand.  
  •  Maintains clear, consistent communication with the VP, ASC Operations regarding performance, risks, opportunities, and resource needs; escalates significant operational, financial, or partnership issues requiring senior-level review or approval.

Minimum Job Requirements 

Education

  • ​​ Master’s in Business Administration or Master’s in Healthcare Administration or related field.   

Certification / Registration / License 

  • Certification or advanced membership preferred in an appropriate professional organization such as ACMPE, ACHE, etc.

Experience

  • 10 years of Healthcare Administration Experience with Progressively Responsible Management Experience
