Second Shift Fulfillment Center Lead (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM)                                                                                                                                

Reports to:  Second Shift Supervisor

$17 - $20/hour

Wage to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data

                                   

Job Summary

The lead is expected to help lead and guide all efforts, projects, and goals in their assigned area, always putting the safety and well-being of the associate first.  The lead must set high expectations for themselves and their department to achieve successful results in both throughput and accuracy.  The lead will need to be (or become) the expert in their area of operations.

Specific expectations are:

  • Work safely and ensure those around you are working safely.
  • Be able to complete work in an accurate manner.
  • Be an example in leadership attitude – maintain a positive work environment even when it may be difficult and or busy (i.e. peak season).
  • Learn all departmental tasks – be the “go-to” person when team members have questions or issues.
  • Guide and direct team in a positive way in the absence of the area supervisor.
  • Contribute to building an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort.
  • Inspire the team through personal work example (safe and accurate work).
  • Help develop and enforce departmental standards and procedures.
  • Keep the departmental supervisor informed of all project progress and any issues in the department.
  • Undertake, own, and successfully complete all work assignments.
  • Live up to the title of “lead”

Minimum requirements:

  • Read and write English.              
  • Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods.
  • Basic computer keyboard and data entry skills.
  • Accurate and detail oriented.
  • Great Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Flexible and willing to take and follow direction.
