Job Description:

SUMMARY: Responsible for providing Beverage service to all Casino customers in an efficient, courteous and professional manner, displaying a high standard of Customer services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Perform excellent customer service at all time. Provides prompt, efficient and courteous beverage service to customers in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards. Performs necessary tasks to service customers, i.e.; taking and filling all beverage orders and assisting in maintaining customers gaming area in a clean and neat manner. Maintains knowledge of ABC Codes, the Dram Shop Act and bartender’s responsibilities and rights under it. Completes Alcohol Awareness Training and passes the test associated with the course and renews Alcohol Awareness certification every two years. Maintains compliance with all regulations of health and sanitation standards as well as all applicable federal, state, local laws/ordinances; to include maintaining applicable food safety certification. Monitors customer needs on a continual basis ensuring all beverage requests will be promptly fulfilled. Performs with Bartenders, Bar backs, Supervisors, and pertinent casino Team Members in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation. Maintains assigned area for cleanliness. Assists other beverage personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary. Maintains a consistent and regular attendance record. Performs any reasonable request made by management. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED preferred. One to three months related experience and/or training. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; walk; talk or hear, and must occasionally stand; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor, the Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
