About Our Clinic

Family Pet Hospital located in Vacaville, CA was founded in 1991! The goal at Family Pet Hospital is to provide high quality, compassionate, full-service health care to patients. The clinic is spacious and fully equipped with in-house digital radiographs and ultrasound, in-house comprehensive laboratory, regenerative medicine, advanced surgery suite including orthopedic, and more. We are looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team!

• Practice type: Small Animal General Practice

• Avg. daily patient volume: ~14 per DVM

• Support staff ratio: ~4-5 per DVM

• Case mix: Preventative wellness, urgent care, and routine general practice cases, along with orthopedic and soft-tissue surgery procedures, and dentistry.

• Technology & equipment: Ultrasound, digital x-rays, digital rads, in-house labs, laser, Vcheck200 and in- house diagnostic toolkit for T4, CPL, ProBNP, Progesterone, with capabilities for more!

We have favorable ratio of techs per doctor, offering an ideal environment for both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates. Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)

• Compassionate, client-centered approach to care

• Strong communication and client-education skills

• Experienced Veterinarians, and new/recent graduates with previous veterinary experience welcome to apply
