Platform Administrator

ABOUT THE ROLE

JLL Technologies is seeking a Platform Administrator to support the daily administration and operational reliability of our enterprise data platform ecosystem. Based in Bangalore and operating within a global, 24x7 support model, you will manage key platforms including Informatica, Snowflake, Control-M, Collibra, and related tools — ensuring the stability, security, and continuous health of the systems that underpin JLL's data operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

•       Perform daily administration, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise data platforms including Informatica, Snowflake, Collibra, and Solix.

•       Create, manage, and troubleshoot job schedules, calendars, and dependencies within Control-M to ensure reliability of business-critical processing.

•       Administer GoAnywhere MFT by setting up new file transfers, managing trading partner configurations, and troubleshooting transfer failures.

•       Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations for platforms such as Snowflake and Collibra in accordance with governance policies.

•       Execute and monitor data archiving and retrieval jobs using Solix, ensuring compliance with data retention policies.

•       Support data modeling activities by managing Erwin licenses, assisting with model versioning, and publishing to the repository.

•       Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python and shell to streamline routine tasks such as log analysis and platform health checks.

•       Interface with software vendors to open support cases, troubleshoot technical issues, and apply recommended software patches.

•       Track and resolve user-reported incidents, service requests, and enhancement recommendations through ticketing and support channels.

•       Assist in platform testing and change management activities including validation, documentation, and post-deployment support.

•       Coordinate maintenance windows and upgrades with project and vendor teams to minimize downtime and business disruption.

•       Conduct routine health checks, monitoring activities, and system validations to ensure ongoing stability and early detection of issues.

•       Provide clear and timely communication to managers and technical leads on task progress, incidents, and configuration changes.

 •      Knowledge on Business Intelligence tools like Tableau , Power BI and SSRS support activities would be plus

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Education

•       6+ years of overall experience, with 3+ years in data platform administration or a closely related engineering role.

•       Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

•       Strong computer science fundamentals with demonstrated experience in 24x7 onshore/offshore team environments.

•       Ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Skills & Competencies

•       Hands-on experience administering Informatica platforms (PowerCenter, MDM) and associated databases.

•       Proficiency in enterprise scheduler administration with Control-M, including job definition, dependency management, and production support.

•       Hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, including user and role management and query performance monitoring.

•       Familiarity with data governance platforms such as Collibra, including user support, metadata ingestion, and data asset management.

•       Working knowledge of MFT tools such as GoAnywhere for managing secure file transfers.

•       Experience supporting data modeling environments using tools such as Erwin Data Modeler.

•       Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automating administrative and operational tasks.

•       Good experience enabling integrations using REST/Graph APIs.

•       Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

•       Collaborative team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning.

•       Exceptional debugging skills and hands-on experience with performance tuning.
