The Role:
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Security with expertise in network (LAN) security and application development. This role will lead the design and implementation of security related software features in Rust and C#.
This role is responsible for:
Software for secure communication between all components in the AutoStore system.
System-wide security, ensuring compliance with the Cyber Resilience Act and meet the security expectations from our customers.
Software for updating and deploying new software versions on live AutoStore systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate the design of AutoStore deployments and identify security best practices that should be implemented.
Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Take part in cross-functional projects within the Software Engineering team, driving the development of new features and enhancing existing functionality across the team’s products.
Build and evolve the CubeDeploy software system, enabling customers to easily and securely deploy software on their AutoStore sites.
Key Qualifications:
Bring around 10+ years of professional experience in software development using Rust or C#.
Have expertise in the design/implementation of cyber security systems in LAN environments.
Are excited to build software that becomes part of a physical end product.
Have experience in other languages like C++ and Python.
Are comfortable using tools like GitLab, Jira and Docker.
Enjoy working in a team with highly skilled colleagues, as well as across multiple teams and other parts of the organization.
Are a curious individual that loves continuous learning and improvement, with an engineering mindset that thrives solving complex problems.
