Job Title:

Cloud Operations Readiness & Governance Lead – (AWS Platform)

Your role:

• Define and govern operational readiness standards and onboarding criteria for cloud services entering the CloudOps platform
• Act as the operational gatekeeper, ensuring solutions are fully prepared for deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle support
• Drive Design Transfer Criteria (DTC) and Transition to Operations (TTO) processes for seamless service onboarding
• Ensure systems meet SLOs, SLAs, uptime commitments, and disaster recovery requirements (RTO/RPO)
• Validate readiness across automation, monitoring, observability, and operational documentation
• Collaborate with product engineering, architects, and CloudOps teams to close gaps in operational readiness
• Influence product roadmaps to embed cloud operational capabilities from design stage
• Establish governance practices including runbooks, playbooks, escalation paths, and service procedures
• Lead and support major incident and disaster recovery scenarios, ensuring service continuity and rapid recovery

You're the right fit if:

• Leadership & Experience: 10+ years in cloud operations, platform operations, or large-scale production environments, with hands-on AWS expertise
• Operational Readiness & Governance: Proven experience defining service onboarding frameworks, operational standards, DTC/TTO processes, and ensuring production readiness
• Cloud & DevOps Expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Reliability & Incident Management: Experience managing major incidents, disaster recovery (RTO/RPO), SLA/SLO compliance, and ensuring uptime commitments
• Cross-functional Influence: Ability to collaborate with and influence product engineering, architects, CloudOps teams, and leadership stakeholders
• Operational Excellence Mindset: Strong focus on automation, monitoring, lifecycle management, governance practices, and continuous platform improvement

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
