Mission Statement:

The Business Line (BL) Network Control (NC) Sourcing & Supply Chain Manager will ensure that we execute on a global delivery model in terms of suppliers (equipment, services) and will oversee all supply chain aspects of the NC BL both at tender and at execution levels. He/she will lead the Project Portfolio Group Purchasing & Logistics teams directly and will be accountable for the savings and on-time & on-quality deliveries of our suppliers.

Main Accountabilities:

The SCM Manager: 

1.     Ensures NC commodity strategies are elaborated & implemented from tendering

2.     Proposes cost out strategy in coordination with PD and PM

3.     Dedicated support to assist sales team to capture new business.

4.     Negotiates effectively to deliver additional CM to each NC project.

5.     Ensures all PO’s delivered on time, in full and to the specified quality.

6.     Implements & optimizes most effective Sourcing Tools available

7.     Leads PPG Supply Chain

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred
    • Master’s degree preferred
  • 10 years’ related sourcing and supply chain management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in sourcing & supply chain management leadership in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred knowledge of Software industry and project delivery organisations
  • Experience within a global, matrix organization are required
  • Possess excellent leadership, communication, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Experience with monthly and quarterly close and reporting cycles
  • Change management experience and proven delivery of change implementation
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships at all levels across the business, able to collaborate within the broader business at a senior level
  • Result-driven, ability to inspire, motivate and lead people to best outcomes indirectly, using influencing skills
