In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure that the local unit possesses the necessary capabilities to effectively control primary switchgear products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also demonstrate your expertise by developing and implementing standards and test methods to ensure that only compliant products, software, and services are delivered to customers.

This role is contributing to the PSWG LPL in CNDMX Quality control & CI department in {Xiamen China}. Main stakeholders are {ELDS}.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of testing, control, verification, and validation activities related to primary switchgear products, systems, or software production and/or delivery processes.
• Coordinate proper interfaces between quality control requirements and supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering-related activities.
• Execute and assist in implementing quality control-related training programs; promote a passion for quality and integrity in all actions with a focus on result orientation; and ensure the organization possesses the necessary hardware and software capabilities to ensure products and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations.
• Deploy quality control-related metrics and tools in incoming goods inspection, production, factory, software testing laboratories, and final product inspection, as applicable.
• Serve as an auditor during the product First Article Inspection process; evaluate supplier-submitted sample products to determine whether they meet the technical department's requirements.
• Work together with team members to continuously improve supplier quality performance.

Qualifications for the role

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of primary switchgear operation processes, product characteristics, and relevant standards; possess extensive industry experience in primary switchgear.
• Have a background in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of professional experience in quality control, verification, and testing of primary switchgear or related products.
• Be proficient in quality management tools and testing methodologies; be able to effectively apply these to product quality control and process management.
• Be passionate about quality management and continuous improvement; possess strong teamwork and collaboration skills; demonstrate a results-oriented work attitude.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of primary switchgear national/international standards and have extensive practical experience in their application.
• Be fluent in English for effective communication and application; possess strong cross-cultural communication skills.
