This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable supplier performance within Mechanical Power Conversion. You will lead communication and coordination across internal teams and external suppliers, support strategic casting initiatives such as dual and triple sourcing, and drive execution through disciplined planning and cross-functional collaboration. The position offers strong visibility, meaningful ownership, and the opportunity to influence cost, delivery, and customer outcomes.

This is a remote position; however training onsite may be required initially.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for communicating the progress of specific critical suppliers to Product Line leadership within Mechanical Power Conversion.
• Support Collins tactical and strategic casting initiatives to secure dual or triple sources. This includes ownership of a Plan for Every Part, leading the cross-functional team to drive progress.
• Initiates and maintains supplier communications to drive piece part improvements to support Collins cost initiatives and customer demand
• Coordinates with supply chain and Product Manager (or Program Manager, formerly Value Stream Leader) in managing supplier deliveries to meet customer schedule requirements.
• Represents the Business Unit to the company senior leadership, managing and reporting Supplier status and risk
• Supports and organizes program reviews, team meetings, and other regular business activities.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through strong communication and concise presentation material with customer facing Program Manager
• Collaborate with various Collins departments to ensure suppliers questions or concerns are quickly resolved
• Travel: Less than 10%

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Program/ project management and customer-facing experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
• Advanced degree(s) in business management
• Operations/Manufacturing experience
• Supply chain experience – delivery assurance, supplier development experience

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
