Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities
The Sr. Director, Business Development will lead a team responsible for some of Samsung Ads’ most critical platform, demand and supply-side relationships. This role is central to shaping and executing our partnership strategy across the advertising ecosystem. Reporting to the SVP of Global Product, Engineering & Business Development, this role will oversee end-to-end deal lifecycles—from negotiation and contracting to execution and optimization—while identifying new, strategic revenue-driving opportunities that expand our market presence and value proposition.
This leader will be the external face of Samsung Ads to key partners and a trusted internal stakeholder, working cross-functionally with product, sales, legal, finance, and executive leadership to drive impactful outcomes. They will balance strategic vision with operational rigor, ensuring the team delivers against both long-term goals and day-to-day execution.
The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the AdTech landscape, particularly in how publishers engage with ecosystem partners to expand their demand, supply, and data footprint. They will possess strategic vision and be an exceptional communicator, a sharp analytical thinker, and a strong people manager capable of mentoring a high-performing team. Success in this role requires comfort with complexity, decisiveness in ambiguity, and a hands-on approach to leadership in a fast-paced environment.
