A fantastic opportunity has opened at CMC Markets for a Trade Support Analyst to join our London-based Institutional (CMC Connect) team.

This is a high-impact role supporting our Institutional client base across the full client lifecycle, from pre-sales testing and onboarding to ongoing trading facilitation and commercial configuration management. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless connectivity between institutional clients, third-party providers, and CMC’s internal technology teams.

Please note that this is an onsite role that will require you to work within our London office (near Liverpool street) 5 days on site per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering closely with the CMC Connect team to support global technical onboarding, UAT, and the launch of new processes, technology and products

  • Supporting institutional electronic trading clients and maintaining connectivity across APIs, FIX, MT4/5 bridges and ECNs

  • Managing and monitoring system configurations and back-office elements of the Institutional technology stack

  • Collaborating with IT and key stakeholders to test and roll out enhancements across the development lifecycle

  • Contributing to Institutional IT and product strategy, planning and delivery

  • Supporting implementation of business controls around client setup and management

  • Working closely with Business Operations on daily Institutional processes

  • Building strong relationships internally and externally to ensure an exceptional client experience

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting an Institutional electronic trading business

  • Knowledge of derivatives and institutional markets (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of Web Services / APIs and FIX protocol (highly desirable)

  • Experience managing business process change and technology implementations

  • Commercial awareness with a strong client-service mindset

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

  • High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • A genuine interest in financial markets
