The Contract Marketing Senior Manager, GHNW is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and business growth. This role partners closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure cohesive, datadriven marketing initiatives across channels and for multiple distribution channels. The Marketing Manager, GHNW, is an experienced content marketer, responsible for driving impactful content that builds brand authority, engages target audiences, and supports commercial objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with business objectives to position Manulife as the market leader for this segment; work closely with local business unit marketing team members in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bermuda to ensure coordination and consistency, as needed
  • Manage and deliver marketing and brand building initiatives, linking the business segment narrative to the broader global brand narrative to create a differentiating proposition
  • Translate business strategy, product value propositions and complex topics into clear, compelling narratives
  • Manage and optimize multi‑channel campaigns (digital, social, content, events, paid media, PR, etc.); ensure campaigns are audience-centric and tailored to relevant distribution partners and customers
  • Analyze campaign performance and market trends to inform strategy and investment decisions
  • Develop content frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and campaign narratives
  • Lead the creation of high‑quality content across online and offline channels, including website copy, thought leadership, campaigns, social, distribution enablement tools, and marketing collateral

  • Manage the Manulife Advisory public website, including content creation and management of website content in collaboration with the tech team

  • Own and evolve brand voice, tone, and editorial standards across all content outputs

  • Partner with marketing, brand, product, distribution, communications, and design teams to draft and deliver audience-centric content
  • Review, edit, and elevate content produced by vendors to ensure quality and consistency; ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone and messaging guidelines
  • Use data, insights, and audience understanding to continuously refine marketing and content strategy
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high bar for quality
  • Oversee marketing budgets, timelines, and agency relationships
  • Manage day-to-day operational processes related to marketing initiatives, such as legal & compliance review, material creation, and quality improvement
  • Support, manage, and facilitate effective relationships with design firms and other marketing vendors
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in marketing or related field
  • 7+ years experience in Financial Services industry, preferred if experience is in the insurance industry, experience and exposure to the Asia and/or Middle East regions preferred, specifically in Hong Kong, Singapore, and UAE
  • 5+ years experience in marketing communications, including product marketing, brand marketing, and sales/distribution enablement

  • Experience working in a global, matrix organization with stakeholders across multiple time zones; ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven success in launching products and programs
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, can distill notes and present updates succinctly; strong analytical skills to evaluate data and content performance.
  • Knowledgeable in key industry trends and best practices 
  • Strong attention to detail and organization; able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and execute tasks in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Proactive, solution oriented mindset; comfortable asking clarifying questions and following through
  • Familiarity with content workflows (briefs, reviews, approvals, versioning) and brand guidelines
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, project tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Jira), and marketing automation tools (e.g. Marketo, Hubspot)
