As part of the College Communications Unit at the College of Business (Nanyang Business School) in NTU, the Assistant Manager, Strategic Communications plays an instrumental role in supporting the Communications team to achieve the overall positioning and thought leadership objectives for the School. The role also supports the marketing initiatives of the various programme teams, ensuring alignment in the School’s positioning and NTU brand guidelines to ensure delivery of a broad range of strategic objectives and outcomes. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting all communications activities, developing communication materials and helping with event communications.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage thought leadership webinars and other events as needed, from organizing the webinars to developing publicity materials to producing timely reports.
  • Review communication materials for Dean’s Office.
  • Provide strategic input to communication materials developed by other teams, including original development.
  • Work with the in-house designer to administer and oversee the quality and production of communication materials.
  • Oversee the website – updating and approving content in a timely manner.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Assist in administrative matters, such as corporate gifts, etc.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree, with a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience
  • Creative thinker and must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Good communications, especially written skills
  • Excellent temperament to handle multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
