The creative team at Salesforce is excited to welcome a Sr. Manager-level Creative Team Lead to our group. We invite candidates with experience in art direction or copywriting to apply. Who You Are

We are looking for a dynamic individual who can independently handle and manage the creative needs for the Tableau product and business. You have the ability to both take a strategic view to guide your team and manage day-to-day workflows and resources effectively. You possess a keen eye for both design and copy, with a strong digital background and exceptional conceptual skills. Embracing innovation and new techniques is second nature to you, and you stay current with industry trends and best practices. You are skilled in guiding and supporting both internal team members and external agency partners. You excel in balancing roles as both a team player and a leader.

As the Creative Lead, you will develop a vision for the Tableau brand and ensure its alignment with the broader Salesforce design system. You will champion your team, helping them navigate business challenges and prioritize impactful projects.

Your role will include conceptualizing large campaign ideas, creating event experiences (including the Tableau Conference), and developing cohesive themes for marketing campaigns across various platforms such as web, demand generation, and social media. Experience with video and animation projects is also important, as you will provide valuable input on everything from product demo videos to film-based storytelling content.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in advertising, whether agency or in-house/client-side, with a strong grasp of integrated marketing and advertising campaigns, including digital.

  • 5+ years of experience leading a creative team.

  • A compelling portfolio showcasing original, conceptual, and results-driven work.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a knack for prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

  • Experience with Art Direction: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of video editing and After Effects considered a plus. Familiarity with Sketch/Figma/Xd is required.

  • Required tools: Keynote/PowerPoint/Google Slides, Google Docs and Sheets, Adobe Acrobat, and a working knowledge of AI creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Writer.AI).

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $164,000 to $225,500.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $136,600 to $187,900.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,300 to $206,700.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $164,000 to $225,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
