Job Summary :
To provide to patients basic cardiopulmonary diagnostic services and facilitate patient care through timely reports to physicians in accordance with the Hospital and Departmental mission statements, policies and procedures.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Will follow Departmental, Hospital and Human Resources Policy & Procedures.
2. Will assist with triage in the emergency department
3. Will, under the order of a physician, perform non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures after completion of training and competency evaluation in ECG, rhythm strip, and heart monitors monitor hook-up/take-off.
4. Will maintain departmental statistical and individual productivity records.
5. Will process patient billing per procedure.
6. Will act as part of the cardiac rapid response team.
7. Will use common sense and special medical skills to care for patients with regard to their age, diagnosis and physical abilities.

Education and Experience Required:
1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
