A caregiver in this position works 5:30am—7:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Supervise exercise activities, monitor exercising participants, and interact with members to ensure that exercise programs are done safely and effectively.
Create, implement, and evaluate incentive programs to enhance exercise adherence and retention.
Assist with the development and instruction of group exercise classes.
Teach participants on class method, purpose, and procedures.
Carry out other projects and duties as assigned by department supervisor or fitness center manager.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
One year of experience in a Fitness Center environment with a background in program management and/or exercise testing.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree.
First-Aid, ACE and CSCS.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to maneuver, carry, lift, bend, stoop, swim, walk and sit for extended periods of time.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
