As a Solutions Engineer IV you’ll lead, build, maintain, and refine high-performance, secure, scalable systems through your collaboration in development, infrastructure, and product discussions from conception to completion. You have recommendations on how to imagine, develop and launch solutions with transformative power.

As part of the GBS (Global Business Services) Data and Analytics IT team, you’ll help development and delivery for various initiatives and solutions. You will work with application teams, architecture, product owners, business stakeholders, and testing partners to frame problems, define solutions options, solve issues and drive initiatives forward.  We’re looking for individuals with a nimble and growth mindset, who’ll play the role of end-to-end solution owner collaborating with various IT and business partners to implement capabilities and features based on the product vision and roadmap.

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field and/or work experience.
  • You have at least 10+ years hands-on experience designing and building relational, dimensional, and analytical solutions with a strong foundation of modern data stacks using Databricks, and AWS data services.
  • You have strong architectural understanding and experience in Databricks running on AWS deployment.
  • You have hands-on experience in creating and maintaining complex data models including conceptual, logical and physical models.
  • You have understanding and experience with Airflow and dbt.
  • You have comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies; experienced Scrum Master is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
  • You have proven experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed technical specifications.
  • Your expertise includes implementing industry best practices for data and meta-data management, data governance and data security.
  • You have a foundation of technical ability, business acumen, leadership skills, and a desire to coach and mentor junior associates. 
  • You have an agile mindset and passion for continuous improvement and innovation
  • You have experience with financial data, and familiarity with SAP ERP and  SAP Business Warehouse / SAP HANA modelling system is a plus.
  • You can influence your peers and leaders to thoughtfully manage technical debt.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $148,045-$236,872

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
