About our Team
 

LexisNexis Risk Solutions provides data and analytics for risk management and decision-making. We aim to enable customers to make informed decisions using our innovative solutions. This internship will support the Digital Marketing Operations team in creating marketing campaigns for our social media channels.
 

About the Role
 

As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will improve social media performance and assist in creating marketing campaign engagement strategies. This opportunity offers college students the ability to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment.

The program spans 10 weeks from May 19, 2025, to July 25, 2025, and is open to rising seniors graduating in Spring 2025. This internship is based in Alpharetta, GA, with no relocation assistance provided.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Segment Marketing to clarify campaign objectives and target audience(s).

  • Developing strategic recommendations for social media tactics based on best practices and current trends.

  • Communicating rationale and outlining opportunities to boost engagement for brand awareness and demand generation goals.

  • Partnering with campaign, content, and channel owners to consult on and optimize social media tactics.

  • Leveraging tools such as EveryoneSocial for employee advocacy and Sprinklr to support an engagement/community management framework.

  • Gathering feedback on existing processes and documenting possible improvements.

  • Working closely with subject matter experts in digital marketing, content strategy, and analytics.

  • Presenting recommendations for ongoing optimization of social media performance to the Marketing Leadership Team.


Requirements

  • Be a graduating senior with an area of study in marketing, digital marketing, or communications.

  • Have previous marketing internship(s) and/or social media project experience.

  • Possess foundational knowledge of B2B marketing and corporate social media best practices, especially on LinkedIn.

  • Have knowledge or experience with social media campaigns and engagement tactics.

  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Possess excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
