Job Description

We are FIS. Our technology powers the world’s economy and our teams bring innovation to life. We champion diversity to deliver the best products and solutions for our colleagues, clients and communities. If you’re ready to start learning, growing and making an impact with a career in fintech, we’d like to know: Are you FIS?

About the role:

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients implementing a leading real-time payments solution, guiding them from kickoff through go-live. A typical day includes working directly with clients to train them on product capabilities, gather required configurations and documentation, and coordinate key milestones such as testing and go-live readiness.

You will manage a portfolio of approximately 8–12 concurrent client implementations, balancing multiple timelines while maintaining strong attention to detail. Success in this role requires building trusted client relationships, proactively addressing questions, and ensuring all requirements are accurately captured and executed.

This is a highly collaborative role, partnering closely with internal configuration, product, and delivery teams, as well as external vendor partners, to ensure seamless implementations and successful client outcomes.

About the team:

You will be part of a client-focused implementation team responsible for onboarding financial institutions onto FIS payment solutions. The team works closely with clients, internal product and engineering teams, and external partners to deliver successful implementations and drive client readiness for production.

This team plays a critical role in ensuring clients adopt and effectively use our solutions, acting as the bridge between product capabilities and real-world client deployment.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing multiple client implementations concurrently, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met
  • Leading client-facing activities including training sessions, onboarding, and go-live coordination
  • Gathering and validating client configurations, documentation, and required forms
  • Serving as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external vendor partners
  • Tracking project details, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery

What you bring:

  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to track and manage complex requirements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; prior experience in project coordination, implementation, or client-facing roles preferred
  • Experience in payments, banking, or fintech environments

Added bonus if you have:

  • Prior experience supporting software or product implementations
  • Familiarity with client onboarding, training, or go-live coordination

What we offer you:

A career at FIS is more than just a job. It’s the change to shape the future of fintech. At FIS, we offer you:

  • A voice in the future of fintech
  • Always-on learning and development
  • Collaborative work environment
  • Opportunities to give back
  • Competitive salary and benefits

Required work hours: Standard business hours (flexibility required based on client needs)
Overtime required: Minimal, based on project timelines
Weekends required: Occasional, during a major client go-live event
Travel percentage for this role: Rare
